The Plateau Cultural Carnival ("the Carnival", "we") is an annual cultural event held in Plateau State, Nigeria. For questions about this policy or your data, contact info@plateauculturalcarnival.africa.
When you register interest or apply to participate (as a visitor, school, pageant contestant, vendor, performer, volunteer, partner or member of the press), we collect the details you provide: name, contact information (email, phone/WhatsApp), your local government area where relevant, and the information needed for your participation category. Where we direct you to an official Google Form as a next step (for example for the pageant or schools competition), Google's privacy policy also applies.
To process registrations and applications, communicate Carnival updates, programmes and access details, and organise the event. We do not sell personal data. Information is shared only with the Organising Committee and service providers who help run the Carnival, and only as needed.
The Carnival is a public event that is photographed, filmed and broadcast. By attending, you consent to appearing in event photography and footage used for documentation and promotion of the Carnival. Performers, contestants and honourees may be featured prominently.
Subject to the Nigeria Data Protection Act, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at the email above.
Content on this website, including text, photographs, the Carnival name and logo, belongs to the Plateau Cultural Carnival or its licensors and may not be reused commercially without permission. Programme details, venues and times are published in good faith and may change; confirmed details are announced on the News & Updates page. Registration of interest does not by itself guarantee entry to ticketed or capacity-limited events.
